Tiffany Yin, M.A., CCC-SLP

Tiffany Yin is a board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping individuals find their voice through a strengths-based and play-centered approach. She is dedicated to promoting communication through creativity, connection, andmaking it a joyful experience.

With over seven years of experience in a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, Tiffany has worked with diverse populations, including individuals with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy,genetic disorders, language processing disorders, selective mutism, dyslexia, and gestalt language learners. She has supported clients across a wide range of speech and language needs, including articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders (apraxia, dysarthria), receptive and expressive language delays, social-pragmatic language challenges, fluency disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Tiffany is especially passionate about supporting both speaking and non-speaking autistic individuals by promoting multimodal communication strategies that meet each client’s unique strengths and needs. Tiffany has experience with speech-generating devices and AAC tools, including Proloquo2GoLAMP Words for Life, Unity, TouchChat, and TD Snap, as well as low-tech options like BigMack Switches, visual supports, and communication boards. She is also trained in the PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) technique to support motor planning for speech.

Tiffany earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from the University of California, Irvine. She later completed a post-baccalaureate in Communicative Disorders at California State University, San Marcos, and earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, Fullerton. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)and is licensed to practice in the state of California.
