Jasmin Davoodi

Jasmin is a board-certified speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping individuals access their voice and feel confident about their communication. She thrives on bringing creativity to every session and focusing on an individual’s intrinsic motivation.

Jasmin has a high level of experience working with various populations including autism, ADHD, social-pragmatic language disorder, auditory process, fluency, expressive/receptive language delay. She specializes in the treatment of phonological disorders and articulation delay where she integrates her passion and background for musical theory as a pianist and vocal performer into every session. Additionally, she is trained in the Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) technique.

Jasmin prioritizes working within an interdisciplinary team alongside of behavior therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. She has experience with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems including the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), functional sign language and various speech-generating devices. She has extensive experience with LAMP Words for Life, TouchChat, Proloquo2Go and alternative access methods including partner-assisted auditory scanning, switch access and eye-tracking systems such as Tobii C12 and Sonoflex. She believes in a total communication approach and that various communication modalities can be supported during speech therapy sessions.

Jasmin currently holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, Northridge and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is licensed to provide speech therapy in the state of California.
