Christina is a speech-language pathologist who is dedicated to improving clients’ communication to ultimately help enhance their quality of life. Making authentic connections and building on clients’ strengths are at the forefront of her therapy approach. She brings creativity and an open-mind to each therapy session. Christina provides family-centered, culturally-responsive speech-language therapy that incorporates what is meaningful to clients and their families. 

With over 10 years of experience in the field, Christina has worked with a variety of diagnoses including autism, receptive/expressive language delays, social-pragmatic language differences, articulation disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other genetic conditions resulting in global developmental delays. She has serviced individuals in the home, clinic, and school settings for early intervention through transition age. Christina prioritizes a collaborative approach and has worked closely with OTs, BCBAs, and teachers to provide effective therapy for the whole-child. 

Christina specifically has a high level of experience working with both speaking and non-speaking autistic individuals. She has developed a strong passion for supporting AAC learners and has experience with speech-generating applications such Proloquo2Go, GoTalk, and LAMP Words for Life as well as with lite-tech visuals supports and communication boards. 

Christina received a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University. She also earned a master of science from San Francisco State University where she participated in a specialized grant program called Project Common Ground and received an Autism Spectrum Graduate Certificate. Christina holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is currently licensed to practice in California.
