What your child should understand:
Begins understanding a variety of words relating to size (e.g. “big”), color (“blue”), location (“under”), time (‘’wait”), number (“two cookies”).
Follows 2-step directions (e.g. “Take your shoes off and put them under the bed”)
Can sit and listen to stories for longer periods of time
Can point to objects when described (e.g. “What do you wear on your head?”)
