Uses sentences with 4-5 words to describe activties of the day.
Begins linking sentences together (e.g. “I had pizza for lunch and then I played outside”)
Asks and answers more complex “WH” questions (“Who, What, Where, When, Why”)
- Uses pronouns (“I, you, me, we, they”)
What your child should understand:
Follows more complex directions that involve descriptive words (e.g. “Give me the red ball” or “Walk slowly”)
Begins understanding the concept of “same” versus “different” and can point out objects that match/ objects that are different
Understands positions concepts (“behind, in front, around, next to, beside, between”)
